Camille and Grandma

This afternoon, amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, my lovely host Camille offered to introduce me to a few of the thousands of street dogs of Patan. As you can see, each greeting was loving and beautiful and I was deeply touched by her overflowing kindness. We stopped quickly into a streetside shop to buy some snack biscuits. She handed me a package and said, "They are friendly and just want affection, but these will help...".
Thank you, Camille, and all of the other kind souls I've encountered in this beautiful country in the last 24 hours.
I'm still processing all of the magic and heartache of this first day. What a place. More soon...
